1. Intended Use The access control system is designed to release lock combinations via a numerical code. This system must be driven by the "KeyMatic ® KM300" door-locking device. This product is moreover suitable for radio or cable controlled, double switch channel operation of bell (1-2 family homes) and lighting systems, etc.

Features and functions The "KeyMatic ® CAC" access control system enables you to lock, unlock and even open doors via the "KeyMatic ® KM300" radio controlled door lock driving system, and is activated by entering a code number. Page 9 • When installing the enclosed bell system, ensure that the mains and low voltage circuit are separated with a transformer with galvanised winding (safety bell transformer). If in doubt allow a professional electrician to mount, install and wire-up your device. Improper or make-do electrical connection to the mains does only represent a threat to you but also to other persons.

Mounting a) Site for mounting Select a site where your device can be mounted, making sure that it meets the following requirements: • Protected from the effects of weathering, e.g. underneath a canopy or eave • Protected against vandalism (not visible from the street but mounted on property grounds or in an ante-room) •...

Then remove the mounting plate from the housing (by pulling downwards). • Pull the mains cable from the attaching plug out of the connector PCB’s recessed connector, see illustration right.

Controlling the "KeyMatic ® KM300" and the "KM300FG" Radio gong can be achieved in both cases wireless, via radio. The following sections outline various kinds of operation and connection.

Principle functions of the FS20 system The FS20 radio switching system (to which the "KeyMatic ® CAC" also belongs or more accurately transmits the command signals thereof) operates with a so-called "House code". This enables your neighbour to operate the same system, without them interfering with each other (on the condition that the house code has been programmed differently).
