INSTALLATION & OPERATION MANUAL 10. Connect the BLACK wire lead from the jack directly to the positive (+) terminal of the battery or junction box. This unit has a built-in circuit breaker which automatically trips and resets if the amperage is too high. Now connect the WHITE ground wire to the negative (-) battery terminal or to the trailer frame. -
