The Aquagarden PondVac may be pumping dirty water back into the pond instead of filtering out sludge due to one or more of the following issues:
1. Foam filter is blocked with dirt and not functioning properly—clean the filter foam. 2. Hoses or the outlet valve may be blocked—check and remove any dirt or debris. 3. Drum may be full—empty the drum to restore proper suction and filtration. 4. Drain hose may be kinked or not inclined enough—reposition it to allow proper drainage.
These issues can prevent proper sludge collection and cause dirty water to be recirculated.
