Operation Adding water to an empty bowl helps prevent holding tank (Fig. 1A) odors from entering the living space. Adding water is recommended prior to flushing solids and toilet paper. Winterization Non-toxic Antifreeze Winterization Recommended method: Pour non-toxic antifreeze (propylene glycol) into the potable water tank according to the instructions from the antifreeze manufacturer. Review manufacturer's Owner's Manual for any special instructions. Flush the toilet several times until the antifreeze flows completely through the toilet. Note: For toilets with a hand sprayer, the hand sprayer must be turned on for antifreeze to cycle through the sprayer. -
