INSTALLATION GUIDE

PARTS INCLUDED:

180 Cover

TOOLS REQUIRED:

3/8 " Nut
Drill
Driver
PREPARE THE CARGO BED & MOUNT THE COVER
Attach the angle iron to the bulkhead, just below

the taper and centered side to side, using a drill,
3/8" nut driver bit, and five self-drilling screws.
Installing the angle iron is easiest if
you pre-drill it using the screws.
If you are also installing a Cross Bin, do so now. Refer to page 2

of the Cross Bin Installation Guide for details.
Close the tailgate. Place the cover

onto the cargo bed so that the
weatherstrip along the angle piece
welded under the rear of the
cover is firmly compressed
against the inside edge
of the tailgate.
Center the cover

side to side.
Keep an eye out for these icons:
Ratchet
Wrench
9/16" Socket
7/16" Socket
IMPORTANT!

PRE INSTALLATION NOTES:
If your truck has bed rail caps, you should affix the included
bulkhead prep kit prior to installing the DiamondBack 180.
Refer to the Bulkhead Prep Kit Installation Guide for details.
1/8" Hex Key
You'll want a second person to help with this installation.
Attach the nose of the T panel to the

angle iron using the G-913 clamps.
Tighten the clamps with a 9/16"
socket.
Attach the cross member of the T

panel to the bed rails using two G-99
clamps at each end. Tighten.
Verify that the cover remains centered side to side

and its rear weatherstrip remains compressed
against the tailgate.
