This handbook has got the aim of explaining the most common operations that can be done, in conformity with security laws.

    When for some maintenance you provide to demounting some parts from the machine, must be sure to re connecting in same place and in same way that is provided form OMG. Doing so may result in unstable operation and injury When an alarm occurs, remove the cause, reset the alarm after confirming safety, and then resume operation.

    MF 64 Foundations and positioning on floor Note: Drawing show in red all the points where the feet must be re-positioned during machine positioning on the floor. For correct operation, as well as for its stability, the machine must rest on a well-levelled surface in accordance with state laws.

    MF 64 Machine Levelling Once the foundation and positioning is done and electrical & pneumatical are re-connected (see next description), proceed as follows: - turn CW or CCW the levelling screws of the anti-vibration feet (see more photo below) - Carry out the levelling operations of the machine both horizontally and transversely by adjusting the screws of the feet (see description).
  • Page 63 MF 64 Open the forming station lock, remove the station stop screw and test its extraction. Note: with the machine off, the lock status lamp will not be able to signal any feedback. To adjust the support feet, screw or unscrew with the appropriate wrench until the correct planarity of the machine is found.
  • Page 64 MF 64 Periodically perform a flatness check of the machine. With correct positioning, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of irregular wear of the moving parts. The frequency of periodic checks depends on the quality of the soil and its foundations.

    MF 64 Main manifold All the systems that are using the cooling are hook up to the same place. From this location, you can turn on or off some cooling systems if needed for maintenance or for process. An automatic valve is opening the water system to the mold in automatic cycle.

    MF 64 Pneumatic connection Pneumatic connection is made with tubes with minimal 1” diameter. The air supply pressure must be 6 bar (or 90 PSI) minimum and 8 bar (or 120 PSI) maximum. Be sure that the compressor is supplying air with low humidity percentage to avoid emptying frequently the filter of the FRL from water accumulation.

    MF 64 Remote Assistance This machine is provided by a Ubiquity Ethernet router which allow simply connection between machine and OMG factory through internet connection of your factory.     MF 64 Unwind Reel General Description To be able to supply film to the machine, the unroller is necessary. It is consisting of a lifting device, moved by two screws and a single motor. This device is equipped with a blocking system that keeps the roll with tension and let it rotate freely on its own axis. The rotation can be controlled with the brake, avoiding that the roll moves because of inertia.

    MF 64 Adjustments & Setup When inserting a roll of different width for the first time, you need to adjust the side part, where there is a screw with handle-wheel. Adjust the width of the unroller accordingly to the dimension of the roll.
  • Page 86 MF 64 Use the up / down selector switch to move the roll up or down. Adjust the height of the centering cones until they match the center of material roll. Up / down lifting roll selector. Maintain the selector to go up or down the lifting support.
  • Page 87 MF 64 Lift the roll from ground to avoid the material to get scratch from the floor. Pull manually the end material to unwind, a sufficient quantity to install I inside the calendar. Lift the two handles located on both side of the unwinder.

    MF 64 Automatic Cycle Before starting with the automatic cycle, to produce pieces, be sure to enable the calendar function using the selector switch. No Doing so, the material can pull excessively and damage the devices. Use this selector switch to activate the calendar.

    MF 64 Edges Pre-Heater General Description This device is used to heat the edges of the material before it reaches the film feed chain.
