    The AlcoSafe KX6000S-4 is a premium grade digital alcohol breath detector that quickly screens for the presence of alcohol in breath. The 4-digit LCD display indicates the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) up to 3 decimal point of accuracy for the test subject in seconds.

    Wait 20 minutes after the subject drinks, smokes or eats before testing. Failure to wait 20 minutes can give inaccurate BAC readings. Insert mouthpiece: Insert the KX6000S-4 mouthpiece firmly Step 1 into the mouthpiece slot on the upper left hand side of the unit.

    Set temperature display format KX6000S-4 displays temperature in format of Celsius °C / Fahrenheit °F. The display format could be set as below: On Welcome screen, press Right button for 2 seconds. SET mode is displayed. Press Power button 1 time to enter SET mode for setting temper- ature display format.

    This message displays when Low Battery. Install two (2) new AA alkaline batteries. Calibration The KX6000S-4 is calibrated during manufacture using advanced alcohol simula- tion equipment. Known alcohol concentrations are passed through the sensor to set baseline values for testing. During testing, the unit compares users’ breath samples to these baseline values.
