    Shutter: In capture mode, take a photo or start/stop capturing a movie. In playback mode, voice recording and playback. In MP4 mode, play/stop a movie file. Microphone: Convert sound wave to electrical signal for voice recording. Flashlight: Illumination objects in dark environment for photo taking. See flash mode setting for operations.

    Slide the battery door downwards to open the compartment for battery replacement. SD Card slot: Remove the SD card slot cover. Insert a card. Push the card for ejection. Menu button: Enter/ Exit the menu. Power button: Switch on/off the video camera LCD: Liquid crystal display which displays video images, still pictures, status icons, menu and list of music or video files.

    Preparations before Use Battery Installation Install the battery by following the steps: Fig.3-1 Open the battery cover by sliding it downwards. Place the battery into the compartment. Ensure the metal contacts of the battery are in the same orientation as the battery contacts in the battery compartment.
