Product instruction manual OmniFlow 520 The OmniFlow has been designed to be user friendly, however we strongly recommend you take a few minutes to read through this manual to ensure correct operation. Keep this manual safe for future reference.
Omni-Flow 520 1 Introduction 1.1 Preface This manual only applies to Omni-Flow 520 system. Before using the system, please read the instruction manual carefully first. Please keep the manual in a safe accessible location so that consulting it at any time in the future. Any questions while operating please contact our technicians.
Omni-Flow 520 2 Safety 2.1 Environment Temperature : 10℃ to 35℃ Humidity : 30% to 70% Altitude : Below elevation 1000m Ensure there are no corrosiveness gas, flammable gas, oil mist and so on in room. 2.2 Do’s and Don’ts Do-Read this manual and fully understand before the operation. Do-Check the plug and system voltage and frequency to your main supply, and that the socket has a correct working earth lead for this single insulated system.

Omni-Flow 520 Don’t-put other pieces, especially tiny pieces on loading table. Don’t-alter or uninstall the system, unless authorized by a Vivid Laminating Technologies engineer. Don’t touch any running parts while running. Don’t shut down the system while running. Don’t put heavy matter on system or shock it. Don’t place any metal or flammable item in the system, or it may cause fire or electronic shock.

Omni-Flow 520 4 Installation 4.1 Remove the fixed bar Please remove the fixed bar after unboxing the system. Shown in the following picture. 4.2 Feeding table extension board installation In the following pictures, we can see there are 3 screws mounting on the feeding table. They are used to lock the feeding table extension board.

Omni-Flow 520 5 Operation 5.1 Key panel No. Key Description Pause/Stop System stop button. Run the system. Start The paper will stop in the exit. It can be used to adjust the side Test guides on the conveyor to the correct position. Clear Clear the input or the warning message.
Omni-Flow 520 5.2 Operation interface There are 8 Interfaces:Standby, Set batch, Set batch pause, Set feed pause, Check speed, Set fan, Double feed detection and System information. In standby mode, press “M”can switch to different modes. Some modes may have multiple pages, we can use confirming button or page down/up to check more details.
Omni-Flow 520 5.2.3 Set Batch Pause Press “M” to enter the set batch pause interface. In this interface, we can set the batch delay time. It can be set from 1s to 99s. 5.2.4 Set Feed Pause Press “M” to enter the interface. We can set the delay time between each sheet fed into the system.
Omni-Flow 520 Suction assisting fan Notes:These two fans are used when we run the thicker and larger sheets. It can make this sheets feed more smoothly. 5.2.7 DBL feed detect ( Optional ) Press “M” to enter the interface. We can select to open or close the double feed detecting function.
Omni-Flow 520 5.3 Setting 5.3.1 Separator finger adjustment As shown in the following figures. Turning the dial anticlockwise can decrease the gap while clockwise increasing the gap. When the sheets double feed, we need to decrease the gap. When the sheets gets stuck, we should increase the gap. Adjusting dial Sheet Separator...
Omni-Flow 520 5.3.3 Upper limiting height adjustment for feeding table Pushing up the shaft can enlarge the distance between the sheet and the suction belt. Usually, we set it to the middle. Height adjusting shaft 5.3.4 Side guides setting In standby mode, we can use the page up/down button to move the side guides according to the width of sheets.
Omni-Flow 520 5.3.5 Back stop guide setting After we finish setting the side guides, we should pull the back stop guide about 5mm longer than the sheet length. 5.3.6 Assisting fan setting Loosen the screws in the red circle area and move the fans to the sheet side edge. Then lock the screws.
