    SYSTEM DESCRIPTION OF THE C401 Functions and features The C401 Dispenser is designed to be mounted inside a cabinet on a trailer to perform deliveries of Hydrogen or other gasses in combination with a Rheonik Coriolis flowmeter with RHE28 or similar transmitter.

    If the Zeroing operation was not successful (e.g. when the flowrate was not set to zero), an error will be displayed. The C401 waits for the flowmeter to finish the Zeroing process. If this fails, a 2 minute timeout on the Zeroing process guarantees that the Zeroing process will always finish.

    These terminals are used for the connection to the RS232 circuit of the On-Board Computer (OBC). Connect the OBC TXD line to terminal C2 and the OBC RXD line to terminal C3.   • Page 32 5.2.2 Switches The C401 is equipped with three switches that prevent unintentional changing of (metrological) parameters. Furthermore, a switch is installed to detect opening and closing of the enclosure door. All switch actions are logged in the event logbook with an indication of the new state. If the switch action also caused the Access Level to change, an additional record is logged with the new level.

    To guarantee error free operation and correct time / date representation, it is required to replace the backup battery for the Real Time Clock (RTC) every 5 years. Inside the C401, a label next to the battery compartment indicates the month and year (MM/YYYY) before which the battery must be replaced.
