Set the device up so that the lens is facing a wall. After a few seconds, the “Artograph Flare 450” logo should begin projecting. This means the projector is starting correctly. If the logo does not appear, the projector battery is likely not charged. To charge the device, simply plug the charging cable into the “DC”...

2. Navigating the main menu: After a few seconds, the main menu will replace the Artograph logo in the projection area. If the menu is blurry, use the focusing wheel above the lens to adjust for clarity. Some models may have the focusing wheel on the side.

Please note the remote must be pointed at the receiver on the back of the projector to function properly. 3. Loading files to the Flare 450: You have three options to load files onto the projector: USB drive (included), HDMI cable (included), or TF-Card (not included).

If the file you are trying to project is a still image, click the “PHOTOS” icon and then the picture of a USB drive. If your files are in the correct format , you will then see them displayed on the screen. If your JPG file does not display, skip to Section 6 “Troubleshooting file formats.”...

To dismiss the toolbar so that only your image is showing, press the “return” button on the remote or the top of the projector. The HDMI cord allows for direct connection to a HDMI-equipped computer or mobile device. To project files this way, connect the projector to your computer or mobile device and then select the “INPUTS”...

4. Accessing the grid overlays: There are multiple ways to access the 12 built-in grids. The easiest way is to press the “GRID” button on the remote control or the file icon on the top of the projector. These two options are best for accessing the grids AFTER you have selected an image to project.
