Mounting
Spreid de ketting over de grond. Leg de kabel

achter de band. / Spread out the chain on the
ground. Pass the cable behind the tire.
Neem de twee uiteinden van de kabel, til deze

aan de voorzijde van de band omhoog en haak
deze in elkaar. / Take the two ends of the cable,
lift them to the front side of the tire and hook
them into each other.
Bevestig het bovenste haakje aan de voorzijde
3.
van de ketting, in een van de laatste vijf scha-
kels van de buitenketting. / Hang the sling hook
into one of the last five links of the outside
chain.
Plaats nu de binnenkabel over de band, zodat

deze zich aan de binnenzijde van de band
bevindt. Let op dat deze niet in het loopvlak van
de band blijft steken. / Push the cable to the
inner side of the tire and make sure that it does
not lay on the tread net of the tire.

Breng uw voertuig in dusdanige positie tot

stilstand, dat de omleghaak zich aan de
onderzijde van de band bevindt. / Stop the vehicle
that the sling-hook is positioned at the upper
center of the tire.
Onthaak de rubberen spanner en haal deze terug

door de kunststof haak alsmede de omleghaak. /
Unhook the rubber tensioner and the tensioning
chain from the eye and the hook.
Trek nu de ketting over de band heen, zodat de

binnenkabel zichtbaar is. / Loosen the chain and
pull it to the front until the cable is visible.
Raadpleeg altijd het voertuiginstructieboekje en neem de aanbevelingen van de voertuigfabrikant in acht!

Span nu de ketting aan door deze door de

omleghaak te halen en daarna krachtig aan te
trekken. Doe de spanketting door de kunststof
haak en haak deze dan vast aan de buitenket-
ting, gebruikmakend van de rubberen spanner
aan het einde van de spanketting. / Lead the
tensioning chain through the hook and pull
strongly upwards. Lead the tensioning chain
through the eye, then hook it well tightened to
one of the links of the outside chain by holding
the rubber tensioner. After driving a short dis-
tance (50 – 100 m or 150 – 300 ft.) stop the
vehicle and re-check the tightness and fit of the
traction chain on the tire. Re-tighten the chain
if necessary.

hook on the outside chain.
Trek de binnenkabel naar u toe en onthaak

unhook the ends of the cable.
Leg de ketting op de grond en rijd hier

voorzichtig overheen. / Lay the chain on
the ground. Slowly drive the vehicle off the
chain.
