REMOTE PHOTOCELL INSTALLATION GUIDE – LRPC12
Please read these instructions carefully prior to installation and keep for future reference

Cables: Box to Sensor (pre-wired) – Live In (Black), Live Out (Red) approx. 450mm length
Box to Connection Box (to be wired) – Live In (Brown), Live Out (Red), Neutral (Blue)
Dimensions: Box = 55 x 45 x 30mm (approx.) / Sensor = 26 x 22mm
IMPORTANT: Box must be installed inside a waterproof junction box / surround

DO NOT USE WITH 240V MAINS – 12V ONLY (TRANSFORMER MAY BE REQUIRED)

Must be installed by a competent person. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

Install in accordance with IEE wiring regulations and current Building Regulations.
•
To prevent electrocution, switch off 12v power supply and remove the appropriate circuit fuse before installing or
maintaining this fitting. Ensure other persons cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge.
•
This fitting is Protection Class III, 12V.
•
All connections should be made as watertight as possible to avoid electrical shortage.
•
Never exceed the wattage stated.
•
If a fitting is found to be damaged, cease use immediately.
•
The unit may get warm whilst on for a period of time.
•
Always take care during installation
•
Suitable for outdoor use when installed correctly in a light fitting or junction box.
•
Before drilling fixing holes, check that there are no obstructions hidden beneath
the mounting surface such as pipes or cables.
•
The chosen location of your new fitting should allow for the product to be
securely mounted and safely connected to the mains supply (lighting circuit).
•
This product is designed for permanent connection to fixed wiring.
recommend that the supply incorporates a switch for ease of operation.
