To power off the thermometer,
hold the measure button
for five (5) seconds or wait
15 seconds for the auto
shutoff feature to power off
the thermometer.
NOTE:
The thermometer will automatically default back to body
mode each time it powers off.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Battery Replacement
When the batteries need to be
replaced, a low battery icon will
display on the screen. To change
the batteries, follow the steps below.
1.
Slide the battery cover down to
open the battery compartment.
2.
Remove the old batteries and
dispose of them properly.
3.
Insert two (2) new batteries
aligning them with the polarities
shown in the battery compartment.
4.
Slide the battery cover back into
place before powering on the
thermometer.
NOTE:
Remove the batteries if the
thermometer will not be in use for
more than three (3) months.
