CARE AND CLEANING

This product contains no user serviceable parts.
Unplug the cord and wait for appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
Carefully open the kettle lid.
Clean the base and the outside of the kettle with a soft damp cloth.
To clean the inside of the kettle, open the lid and wash with warm sudsy water then rinse and dry.
Never immerse the kettle or base in water or other liquids.
Kettle and base are NOT dishwasher safe.
Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal pads to clean the kettle.
Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the kettle.
Decalcifying
Fill the kettle with water and cooking white vinegar mixture (½ vinegar and ½ water) up to the MAX
mark.
Close the lid and place the kettle on the base.
Unwind the cord and plug into a standard 120 Volt AC outlet.
Press the ON button (I/O) to boil the mixture.
Run through the complete boil cycle with the decalcifying solution and repeat 3 times.
Fill the kettle with cold water up to the MAX mark.
Turn on the kettle and complete a boil cycle.
You may have to repeat this step to eliminate the vinegar smell/taste.
Press the OFF button (I/O).
Wash the kettle and base as instructed in the CARE AND CLEANING section.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Always allow the kettle to completely cool before storing.
Wrap cord around cord storage.
Store your kettle in a dry location, such as on a tabletop, countertop, or on a cupboard shelf.
Other than recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary.
