SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
To avoid possible electric shock, special care should
be taken since water is employed in the use of aquarium equipment.
For each of the following situations, do not attempt repairs by yourself.
Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for service or
discard the appliance.
CAUTION:
1) If the appliance shows any sign of abnormal water leakage,
immediately unplug it from the power source.
2) Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not be
plugged in if there is water on parts not intended to be wet.
3) Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it
doesn't work properly or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
4) To avoid the possibility of the appliance plug or receptacle getting wet,
position aquarium stand and tank or the fountain to one side of a
wall-mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle
or plug.
A "drip-loop" (fig. 1) should be arranged by the user for each cord connecting
an aquarium appliance to a receptacle. The "drip-loop" is the part of the
cord below the level of the receptacle or the connector if an extension cord
is used, which prevents water travelling along the cord and coming in
contact with the receptacle.
If the plug or socket does get wet, DON'T unplug the cord. Disconnect the
fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to appliance. Then unplug and
examine for presence of water in the receptacle.
5) Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by near
children.
6) To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts or hot parts such as heaters,
reflectors, lamp bulbs and similar.
7) Always unplug an appliance from an outlet when not in use, before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning. Never yank cord to pull
plug from outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
8) Do not use an appliance for other than intended use. The use of
attachments, not recommended or sold by the manufacturer of the
appliance, may cause an unsafe condition.
9) Do not install or store the appliances where it will be exposed to the
weather or to temperatures below freezing.
10) Make sure an appliance mounted on a tank is securely installed before
operating it.
11) Read and observe all the important notices of the appliance.
12) If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating should
be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the appliance rating
may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not
be tripped over or pulled.
13) This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than other).
As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless
plug can be fully inserted. Do no attempt to defeat this safety feature.
CAUTION:
Pump is to be connected to a circuit that is protected by a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, use only on portable
self-contained fountains no larger than 5 feet in any dimension.

A long list of technical features alone does not make a perfect pump.

IMPORTANT: The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code: Blue-Neutral/ Brown-Live. As the colours of the wires of the
mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured marking
identifying the terminals in the plug, connect as follows: the wire coloured
BROWN must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured RED; the
wire coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured
BLACK.
CAUTION - the BROWN or BLUE leads must NEVER be connected to the earth
terminal (marked E or GREEN/YELLOW)
SAFETY NORMS
Before handling pump in any way, turn off the electrical power of any
equipment immersed in water.
This pump is exclusively for use in water.
Do not install if cable or pump should be in any way damaged.
This product is in line with the current norms in safety standards.
Control voltage imprinted on pump and make sure it corresponds to level of
electrical current used in general system.
The supply cord of this appliance cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged,
the appliance should be discarded.
DO NOT RUN DRY. THE PUMP CAN BE USED IN LIQUIDS WITH TEMPERATURES
NOT HIGHER THAN 35°C!
USE AND REGULATION
NOVA
Through the adaptor which is provided with the pump, it is possible to connect
flexible tuber diameter 12 x16 mm and rigid tuber diameter 13 mm to the
pump itself.
By using the optional adaptor coded 90602 (see fig. 5) it is possible to attach
flexible tubes diameter 9x12mm and rigid tubes diameter 10mm as well.
For uses in which a wide support area is necessary, it is possible to use the
folding support suckers which are part of the pump (see fig.2).
To open the support system, it is necessary to swing it out as shown in fig.
2-A; to close it, press the corresponding tab on the bottom and swing it in the
direction as shown in fig. 2-B.
The pump is also endowed with a flow regul which allows one to vary the
capacity for a specific dose, as required by use.
IDRA
The pump features a 1/2" threaded outlet which allows the connection to
several accessories available on the market.
It is also possible to connect flexible pipes with 20 mm diameter by means of
the adapter provided.
For uses in which a wide support area is necessary, it is possible to use the
folding support suckers which are part of the pump (see fig.2).
To open the support, simply rotate it as shown in fig. 2; to close it, it is
necessary to rotate it in the opposite direction by exerting a certain effort.
The pump is also endowed with a flow regulator (see fig. 3) which allows one

to vary the capacity for a specific dose, as required by use.
MAINTENANCE
NOVA/IDRA is a magnetically powered centrifugal pump, featuring a watertight
synchronous motor: it requires a small but important maintenance control for
correct functioning. Every 2-3 month, remove the front grill A (see fig. 4),
delicately take out rotor B and wash it entirely in warm water, taking out any
calcareous deposits.
Reassemble everything in reverse order.
Before handling, turn off electrical power of any equipment immersed in water.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase
for material or manufacturing defects.
Certificate of guarantee must be filled out completely by resale dealer and must
accompany equipment along with the receipt, in case it is submitted for repair.
Guarantee consists in guaranteed substitution of defective parts.
Guarantee is considered void in case of improper use, nor does it answer to
damages caused by improper handling or negligence on the part of the buyer.
For guarantee to be valid, the device must be returned together with receipt or
equivalent document. All equipment must be sent postage paid.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CORRECT DISCHARGE OF THE PRODUCT ACCORDING TO
EU DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
When used or broken, the product does not have to be discharged with the other
waste. It can be delivered to the specific electric waste collection centres or to
dealers who give this service. Discharge separately an electric tool avoid negative
consequences for the environment and for the Health and allows to regenerate
the materials so to have a great saving of energy and resources.

caratteristiche tecniche. Infatti, solo ciò che è costruito accuratamente e minuziosamente in una
pompa, la trasforma in uno strumento ideale per l'acquariofilo. Con NOVA/IDRA pensiamo di

NORME DI SICUREZZA
Prima di qualunque intervento sulla pompa, staccare l'alimentazione di tutti gli apparecchi
elettrici immersi in acqua.
Questa pompa è per esclusivo uso in acqua.
Non installare se cavo o pompa dovessero in qualche modo risultare danneggiati.
Il prodotto è conforme alle attuali norme di sicurezza..
Controllare il voltaggio sulla pompa ed accertarsi che corrisponda alla tensione di rete.
Il cavo di alimentazione di questo apparecchio non può essere sostituito, in caso di
danneggiamento, l'apparecchio deve essere rottamato.
LA POMPA NON DEVE FUNZIONARE SENZA ACQUA. LA POMPA PUÒ ESSERE UTILIZZATA IN
LIQUIDI LA CUI TEMPERATURA NON SUPERI I 35°C!
USO E REGOLAZIONE
NOVA
Alla pompa si possono collegare tubi flessibili Ø 12 x 16mm e tubi rigidi Ø 13 mm, tramite
l'adattatore in dotazione. Inoltre, è possibile allacciare tubi flessibili Ø 9 x 12 mm e tubi rigidi Ø
10 mm, servendosi dell'adattatore optional cod. 90602 (v. fig. 5). Per le applicazioni dove
risulta necessaria una ampia superficie d'appoggio, si possono utilizzare i supporti a ventosa
ripiegabili, di cui la pompa è dotata (fig. 2).
Per aprire il supporto è sufficiente ruotarlo come mostrato in fig. 2-A; per richiuderlo, premere
la linguetta corrispondente posta sul fondo e ruotarlo nel senso indicato in fig. 2-B.
La pompa è munita anche di un regolatore di flusso (v. fig. 3) che consente di variare la portata
d'acqua per un preciso dosaggio, a seconda delle necessità d'uso.
IDRA
La pompa è dotata di un'uscita filettata da 1/2" che permette il collegamento di molti accessori
standard in commercio.
Inoltre, si possono allacciare tubi flessibili di diametro 20mm servendosi dell'adattatore fornito
in dotazione. Per le applicazioni dove risulta necessaria una ampia superficie d'appoggio, si
possono utilizzare i supporti a ventosa ripiegabili, di cui la pompa è dotata (fig. 2).
Per aprire il supporto è sufficiente ruotarlo come mostrato in fig. 2-A; per chiuderlo bisogna
girarlo in senso opposto, esercitando un certo sforzo.
La pompa è munita anche di un regolatore di flusso (v. fig. 3) che consente di variare la portata
d'acqua per un preciso dosaggio, a seconda delle necessità d'uso.
MANUTENZIONE
NOVA/IDRA è una pompa centrifuga a trascinamento magnetico, azionata da un motore
sincrono a tenuta stagna: essa richiede una manutenzione minima, ma importante per un
funzionamento corretto.
Ogni 2-3 mesi togliere il frontalino A (v. fig. 4), quindi estrarre delicatamente il rotore B e
lavare il tutto in acqua tiepida, togliendo eventuali depositi calcarei.
Rimontare il tutto in ordine inverso.
AVVERTENZE PER IL CORRETTO SMALTIMENTO DEL PRODOTTO AI SENSI DELLA
DIRETTIVA EUROPEA 2002/96/EC
Alla fine della sua vita utile, il prodotto non deve essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti
urbani. Può essere consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta differenziata
predisposti dalle amministrazioni comunali, oppure presso i rivenditori che forniscono questo
servizio. Smaltire separatamente un elettrodomestico consente di evitare possibili conseguenze
negative per l'ambiente e per la Salute derivante da un suo smaltimento inadeguato e permette
di recuperare i materiali di cui è composto, al fine di ottenere un importante risparmio
energetico e di risorse.

SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Vor jedem Eingriff an der Pumpe, die Stromversorgung aller elektrischen, im Wasser
eingetauchten Apparate abschalten.
Diese Pumpe ist nur für den Einsatz im Wasser.
Nicht installieren, wenn Kabel oder Pumpe in irgendeiner Weise defekt erscheinen.
Das Produkt entspricht den aktuellen -normen zur Sicherheit.
Die auf der Pumpe aufgedruckte Spannung kontrollieren und sicherstellen, daß sie mit der
Netzspannung übereinstimmt.
Die Anschlußleitung dieses Gerätes kann nicht ersetzt werden, bei Beschädigung der Leitung
sollte das Gerät weggeworfen werden.

GEBRAUCH UND REGULIERUNG
NOVA
Mit dem Paßstück aus der Ausstattung kann man sowohl biegsame
Rohrleitungen mit Ø 12 x16 mm, als auch biegefeste Rohrleitungen Ø 13 mm,
an die Pumpe anschließen.
Außerdem ist es möglich, biegsame Rohrleitungen von Ø 9 x 12 mm oder auch
biegefeste Rohrleitungen von Ø 10 mm anzuschließen, indem man dazu das
Zusatz-Paßstück, Code Nr. 90602, verwendet (siehe SAbb. 5).
Bei Anbringungen, für die eine große Auflagefläche notwendig ist, kann man
die ausklappbaren Saugnäpfe-Halter verwenden, mit denen die Pumpe
ausgestattet ist (siehe Abb.2).
Um den Halter verwenden zu können, ist es ausreichend, ihn, wie in Abb. 2-A
gezeigt, herauszuklappen; um ihn wieder einzuklappen, die entsprechende
Zunge, die sich auf dem Boden befindet, herunterdrücken und den Halter in der
Abb.2-B angezeigten Richtung bewegen.
Die Pumpe ist außerdem mit einem Flußregler ausgestattet (siehe Abb.3),
welcher es ermöglicht, die Wassermenge zum Zweck einer genauen Dosierung je
nach Bedarf einzustellen.
IDRA
Die Pumpe ist mit einem 1/2" Gewindeausgang ausgestattet, welcher das
Anschließen von im Handel erhältlichem Standardzubehör ermöglicht.
Außerdem kann man Schläuche mit einem Durchmesser von 20mm anschließen,
wobei man dazu in der Ausstattung gelieferte Passtück verwendet.
Bei Anbringungen, für die eine große Auflagefläche notwendig ist, kann man
die ausklappbaren Saugnäpfe-Halter verwenden, mit denen die Pumpe
ausgestattet ist (siehe Abb.2).
Um den Halter zu öffnen, reicht es aus, diesen umzudrehen, wie in Abb.1
gezeigt; um den Halter zu schließen, muß man ihn die entgegengesetzte
Richtung drehen und beim Drehen einen gewissen Druck ausüben.
Die Pumpe ist außerdem mit einem Flußregler ausgestattet (siehe Abb.3),
welcher es ermöglicht, die Wassermenge zum Zweck einer genauen Dosierung je
nach Bedarf einzustellen.
WARTUNG
NOVA/IDRA ist eine Zentrifugalpumpe mit Magnetantrieb. Sie wird von einem
Dicht-Synchronmotor bewegt und erfordert ein Mindestmaß an Wartung, die
jedoch für den korrekten Betrieb wichtig ist.
Alle 2-3 Monate die Gahäusevorderseite A (v. Abb. 4) abnehmen, dann
vorsichtig den Rotor B herausnehmen, alles mit lauwarmem Wasser waschen
und eventuell vorhandene Kalkablagerungen entfernen.
Alles in umgekehrter Reihenfolge wieder montieren.
GARANTIE
Dieses Produkt hat vom Kauftag an eine Garantie von 24 Monaten für Defekte
am Material oder der Konstruktionsweise.
Der Garantiechen muß vom Verkäufer vollständig ausgefüllt werden und dem
Apparat unbedingt werden falls er zur Reparatur zurückgegeben werden sollte.
Die Garantie besteht in dem garantierten Auswechseln der fehlerhaften Teile.
Diese Garantie ist wedër im Falle eines uneigentlichen Gebrauches nicht gültig,
noch entspricht sie Schäden, die durch Verletzung oder Fahrlässigkeit von Seiten
des Käufers verursacht wurden.
Versand-und Rücksendungskosten gehen zu Lasten des Käufers.
ENTSORGUNG (NACH RL2002/96/EC)
Gerät darf nicht dem normalen Hausmüll beigefügt werden, sondern muss
fachgerecht entsorgt werden. Wichtig für Deutschland: Gerät
über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungsstelle entsorgen. Entsorgung von Altgeräten:
Wenn dieses Symbol eines durchgestrichenen Abfalleimers auf einem Produkt
angebracht ist, unterliegt dieses Produkt der europäischen Richtlinie
2002/96/EC. Alle Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte müssen getrennt vom
Hausmüll über die dafür staatlich vorgesehenen Stellen entsorgt werden. Mit der
ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung des alten Geräts vermeiden Sie Umweltschäden
und eine Gefährdung der persönlichen Gesundheit. Weitere Informationen zur

NORMAS DE SEGURIDAD
Antes de efectuar cualquier intervención sobre la bomba, desconectar la
alimentación de todos los aparatos eléctricos sumergidos en el agua.
Esta bomba es exclusivamente para uso en el agua.
No instalar si el cable o la bomba resulten estar dañados.
El producto es conforme a las normas actuales en términos de seguridad.
Controlar el voltaje impreso sobre la bomba y comprobar que corresponda a la
tensión de red. El cable de alimentación de este dispositivo no debe substituirse;
MANTENIMIENTO
en caso de perjuicio el mismo dispositivo debe derribarse.
LA BOMBA NO DEBE FUNCIONAR SIN AGUA. LA BOMBA SE PUEDE UTILIZAR EN
LIQUIDOS CUYA TEMPERATURA NO SUPERE LOS 35°C!
USO Y REGULATION
NOVA
A la bomba se pueden conectar tubos flexibles Ø 12 x16 mm y tubos rigidos Ø
13mm, à través dal adaptator en dotación.
Además, es posible empalmar tubos flexibles Ø 9 x12 mm y tubos rígidos Ø
10mm utilizando el adaptator opcional (ver fig. 5).
Para las aplicaciones donde resulta necesaria una amplia superficie de apoyo,
se pueden emplear los soportes plegables con ventosa, de los cuales está
provista la bomba (fig. 2).
Para abrir el soporte es suficiente girarlo como se muestra en la fig. 2-A, para
volver a cerrarlo se oprime la lengüeta correspondiente colocada sobre el fondo
y se gira en el sentido indicado en la fig. 2-B.
La bomba está provista también de un regulador de flujo (ver fig. 3) que
permite variar el caudal de agua de acuerdo a un dosaje preciso, según las
necesidades que impone el uso.
IDRA
La bomba está provista de una boca de salida a rosca de 1/2" (media
pulgada) que permite la conexión de muchos accesorios normalizados en
comercio. Además se pueden empalmar tubos flexibles de diámetro 20 mm
sirvéndose del adaptador suministrado. Para las aplicaciones donde resulta
necesaria una amplia superficie de apoyo, se pueden emplear los soportes
plegables con ventosa, de los cuales está provista la bomba (fig. 2).
Para abrir el soporte es suficiente girarlo como muestra en la fig. 2, para
cerrarlo es necessario girarlo en sentido opuesto, ejercitando un cierto
esfuerzo.
La bomba está provista también de un regulador de flujo (ver fig. 3) que
permite variar el caudal de agua de acuerdo a un dosaje preciso, según las
necesidades que impone el uso.
MANUTENCION
NOVA/IDRA es una bomba centrifuga de arraste magnético, accionada por un
motor sincrónico hermético; requiere una manutención mínima pero
fundamental para el correcto funcionamiento.
Cada 2-3 meses quitar la cubierta frontal A (ver fig.4), extraer luego
delicatamente el rotor B y lavar todo con agua templada, quitando los
eventuales resiuos calcáreos.
Montar nuevamente las partes en orden inverso.
GARANTIA
Este producto está garantizado durante un periodo de 24 meses a partir de la
fecha de adquisición, por eventuales defectos de material o de producción.
El certificado de garantía debe ser completado en cada una de sus partes por
el revendedor y deberá acompañar al aparato en el caso en que èste sea
restituido para ser reparado.
La garantía consiste en la sustitución de las partes defectuosas.
Esta garantía no es válida en el caso de uso inadecuado, tampoco responde
por daños causados por manumisión o negligencia del comprador.
Para usufructar del servicio garantizado, devolver el aparato con el recibo de
compra o equivalente.
Los gastos de expedición de ida y vuelta, están a cargo del comprador.
CÓMO DESHACERSE DE APARATOS ELÉCTRICOS Y ELECTRÓNICOS VIEJOS
Si en un producto aparece el símbolo de un contenedor de basura tachado,
significa que éste se acoge a la Directiva 2002/96/EC. Todos los aparatos
eléctricos o electrónicos se deben desechar de forma distinta del servicio
municipal de recogida de basura, a través de puntos de recogida designados
por el gobierno o las autoridades locales. La correcta recogida y tratamiento
de los dispositivos inservibles contribuye a evitar riesgos potenciales para el
medio ambiente y la salud pública. Para obtener más información sobre
cómo deshacerse de sus aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos viejos, póngase en
contacto con su ayuntamiento, el servicio de recogida de basuras o el
establecimiento donde adquirió el producto.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
IMPORTANTES
MISE EN GARDE : Afi n de se protéger contre les blessures, des mesures de
sécurité de base doivent être observées, y compris les suivantes.
LIRE ET OBSERVER TOUTES LES CONSIGNES DE SECURITE
DANGER - Pour éviter tout choc électrique, une grande prudence est de
rigueur. Dans chacune des situations suivantes, ne pas essayer de réparer
l'appareil soimême; l'expédier au fabricant pour réparation ou le jeter.
1) MISE EN GARDE: Si la pompe à eau montre un quelconque signe de fuite
d'eau anormale, la débrancher immédiatement de la prise de courant.
2) Examiner soigneusement l'appareil après l'installation. Il ne doit pas être
branché s'il y a de l'eau sur les pièces qui ne doivent pas être mouillées.
3) Ne pas faire fonctionner un appareil défectueux, dont le cordon électrique
ou la fi che sont endommagés, ou qui a été échappé ou abîmé d'une façon
quelconque.
4) Afi n d'éviter que l'appareil ou la prise de courant soient mouillés, installer
le support pour aquarium et le bac à côté d'une prise de courant pour
empêcher l'eau de dégoutter sur la prise. L'utilisateur devrait faire une boucle
d'égouttement (fi g. 1 DRIP LOOP) pour chaque cordon électrique branché
d'un aquarium à un e prise de courant. Une boucle d'égouttement est la
partie du cordon se trouvant sous la prise de courant ou le raccord si une
rallonge électrique est utilisée, afi n d'empêcher l'eau de circuler le long du
cordon électrique et d'être en contact avec la prise de courant. Si la fi che ou
la prise de courant sont mouillées, NE PAS débrancher le cordon électrique.
Débrancher d'abord le fusible ou disjoncteur qui fournit l'électricité à
l'appareil et débrancher ensuite l'appareil en vérifi ant qu'il n'y a pas d'eau
dans la prise.
5) Une surveillance étroite est requise lorsque l'appareil est utilisé par des
enfants ou en leur présence.
6) Pour éviter les accidents, ne pas toucher aux pièces mobiles ou chaudes
comme les chauffe-eau, réfl ecteurs, ampoules, etc.
7) Toujours débrancher l'appareil quand il n'est pas utilisé, quand des pièces
sont enlevées ou remplacées et avant l'entretien. Ne jamais tirer sur le fi l
pour débrancher l'appareil; prendre la fi che et débrancher l'appareil.
8) Ne pas utiliser un appareil pour un emploi autre que celui pour lequel il a
