SAFETY FIRST Safety is essential in the use and maintenance of Southwire Tools and Equipment. This instruction manual and any markings on the tool provide information for avoiding hazards and unsafe practices related to the use of this tool. Observe all of the safety information provided.
SETUP AND OPERATION 1. Select appropriate sized cable (#6awg-1/0) and ensure the end is completely round. Insert into back side of stripper while pulling down on the spring loaded finger trigger. 2. For sizes #6-#4awg, Insert cable until it is flush with the front of the wire support body.

SETUP AND OPERATION cont. 3. Release finger trigger to secure cable in place. 4. Once cable is secure, insert pointer finger into front side bottom hole and rotate stripper away from you in a clockwise rotation while holding the cable secure with other hand until the desired length of strip is obtained.

SETUP AND OPERATION cont. 6. Pull down on the spring loaded finger trigger and slide stripper off of the cable. 7. Depending on wire size there may be a little jacket material left on the very end of the cable. Slide this off with your fingers and strip is complete.

1. All warranty claims must be approved by Southwire’s Tools & Assembled Products Warranty Department prior to return of product. If Southwire determines that a product is defective, Southwire will, at its option, repair or replace defective products or defective product components, free of charge.
