This is done by Outer Disc/Inner Disc pressing the cutterhead safety interlock button. Each time the ignition is turned off, the button MUST be pushed before the motors are able to be started (preventing accidental starting of the cutterheads).

If necessary, add sufficient oil to raise the level to the proper mark on the dipstick. All diesel engines are designed to use some oil, so periodic addition of oil is normal.

Thorough precautions should always be observed to insure the hydraulic system is clean: 1. Filter each change of oil to prevent introduction of contaminants into the system.

Add distilled water if necessary, but do not overfill. Overfilling can cause poor battery performance and/or early failure.

    TROUBLESHOOTING BC 60 "Trailblazer" Brushcutter TROUBLESHOOTING - GENERAL Troubleshooting is a matter of quickly and logically isolating the cause of a problem and taking corrective action. Operating experience, a thorough understanding of the information in this manual, and accurate maintenance and operation records are the best troubleshooting tools an operator can have.
  • Page 66 TROUBLESHOOTING BC 60 "Trailblazer" Brushcutter When the temperature of diesel fuel is elevated, as occurs when the fuel is circulated through an operating engine, it may pose the following hazards which should be guarded against. Refer to the engine manual for details. Before starting a new or overhauled engine that has been in storage, consult the engine manufacturer’s manual for initial start instructions.

Check to see if the unit can be operated without further damage to the system. Always check these items before turning on switches or running the machine: Look for bare wires that could cause grounds or shorts.
