SK NÁVOD NA POUŽITIE
Vážení zákazníci!
Ďakujeme Vám, že ste sa rozhodli pre kúpu nášho strešného boxu a želáme
Vám, aby ste mali úžitok a radosť z jeho používania. Najprv si, prosím,
preštudujte návod na použitie.
Skôr než začnete s montážou
Tento strešný box UP: MD2, MD3, MD5, MD7, MD15, MD17, MD19 je vhodný
pre všetky bežne predávané strešné nosiče s rozmermi lišty nosiča: šírka max.
95 mm, výška 15 - 40 mm
Montáž boxu
Pri montáži postupujte podľa obrázkovej prílohy. Box položte na základné strešné
nosiče tak, aby jeho konce boli rovnomerne rozdelené a aby bolo možné otvoriť prednú
aj zadnú kapotu automobilu. Box umiestnite tak, aby bolo možné bezpečné vkladanie
a vykladanie materiálu. Po umiestnení boxu ďalej postupujte s jeho upevňovaním na
strešné nosiče. Pripravte si všetky komponenty potrebné pre montáž. Na dne boxu sú
vyvŕtané otvory. Zvoľte otvory odpovedajúce umiestneniu boxu k odpovedajúcim
otvorom na strešnom nosiči. Do týchto otvorov zospodu zasuňte upínací diel. Na tento
diel nasaďte plastovú podložku a takto zostavený úchyt utiahnite maticami silou 2 Nm.
To je sila potrebná na rovnomerné vysunutie jednotlivých častí upínacieho dielu. Takto
postupne nasaďte a utiahnite všetky upínacie prvky. Po utiahnutí ešte raz
prekontrolujte, či je upevnenie boxu dostatočné
Napĺňanie boxu
Nikdy neprekračujte maximálnu zaťažiteľnosť strechy vozidla udanú výrobcom. Pri
ukladaní batožiny do strešného boxu je potrebné dbať na rovnomerné rozloženie
záťaže a výška materiálu musí odpovedať vnútornému priestoru boxu. Pri nakladaní
dlhých predmetov (napr. lyží) je potrebné uložiť ich na doraz k prednej výstuhe.
Nedodržaním týchto podmienok môže dôjsť k tomu, že box sa nedá zatvoriť, alebo
otvoriť a následne môže dôjsť k poškodeniu boxu. Maximálna nosnosť boxu je
kg. Po naložení je potrebné všetky predmety v boxe pevne uchytiť popruhmi, ktoré sú
súčasťou balenia. Celkové zaťaženie strechy vozidla sa skladá z: hmotnosti strešného
nosiča, hmotnosti strešného boxu, hmotnosti nákladu.

Please read the instructions for use first. Before you start to install This UP roof box:
MD2, MD3, MD5, MD7, MD15, MD17, MD19, is suitable for all commercially available
roof racks with carrier rail dimensions: Width max. 95 mm, Height 15 - 40 mm.
Mounting the box
Follow the picture attachment for installation. Place the box on the basic roof racks so
that its ends are evenly distributed and the front and rear hoods of the car can be
opened. Place the box so that it can be safely loaded and unloaded. After placing the
box, proceed to attach it to the roof rack. Prepare all the components needed for
assembly. Holes are drilled at the bottom of the box. Select the holes corresponding to
the location of the box to the corresponding holes on the roof rack. Then insert the
clamping piece into these holes from below. Then attach the plastic washer to this part
and tighten the clamp so assembled with nuts by 2Nm. This is the force for evenly
extending the individual parts of the clamping piece. In this way, gradually insert and
tighten all clamping elements. After tightening, check again that the box is secure.
Filling the box
Never exceed the maximum roof load rating specified by the manufacturer. When
placing the luggage in the roof box, it is necessary to ensure an even distribution of the
load and the height of the material must correspond to the interior of the box. If placing
long article (eg skis), i tis necessary to place them at the front stop (stiffener). Failure to
observe these precautions may result in the box not being closed or opened and
consequently damaging the box. The maximum load capacity of the box is 75 kg. After
loading, all the materials in the box must be firmly fixed with the straps included in the
package. The total roof load of the vehicle consists of: roof rack weight, roof box weight,
load weight.
Otváranie a zatváranie boxu
Strešný box MD je vybavený jedným alebo dvoma bezpečnostnými štandardnými
zámkami, alebo centrálnym zámkom. Strešný box zatvorte rovnomerným sklopením
vrchného dielu tak, aby dosadol úchyt(y) v hornej časti boxu do zámku(ov) v spodnej
časti boxu. Pohľadom skontrolujte uzatvorenie prednej časti - lem vrchnej časti boxu
musí prekrývať celý lem spodnej časti boxu. Strešný box musí byť uzatváraný a
uzamknutý bez použitia nadmernej sily. Kľúč možno zo zámku vytiahnuť len
v uzamknutej polohe. Uzamknutie skontrolujte po celom obvode boxu.
Skôr ako vycestujete
1. Pred každou jazdou prekontrolujte , či je box správne upevnený a potom v
pravidelných intervaloch kontrolujte jeho dotiahnutie ku strešnému nosiču. Strešný box
musí byť vždy uzamknutý.
2. Pri nedodržaní týchto podmienok môže dôjsť k uvoľneniu boxu, ktorý môže spôsobiť
vážne nehody.
3. S namontovaným strešným boxom dbajte na zvýšenú opatrnosť pri prejazde
zníženými miestami (tunely, podzemné garáže, nízko visiace predmety, u umývačiek
automobilov, v ktorých je treba vždy odmontovať box aj strešný nosič). Výška vozidla
s boxom sa môže zväčšiť o 60 cm.
4. Nikdy neprekračujte nosnosť strechy vozidla.
5. Jazdu vždy prispôsobte nákladu. Pozor pri náhlom zrýchlení, brzdení, prejazde
zatáčkami, pri bočnom vetre a ďalších podmienkach sťažujúcich jazdu.
6. V záujme bezpečnosti premávky jazdu vždy prispôsobte stavu a charakteru vozovky
a neprekračujte rýchlosť 130 km/hod.
7. Po použití nosič demontujte. Tým sa znížia vaše prevádzkové náklady.
8. Pred uložením box očistite a ošetrite. Na čistenie používajte iba roztoky prípravkov
používané v domácnosti, ktoré nepoškodzujú povrch plastov. V prípade potreby
premastite zámky a vzpery mazacím olejom. Dbajte, aby olej neprišiel do kontaktu
s povrchom boxu. Box skladujte uložený vo vodorovnej polohe.
9. Návod na použitie boxu majte vždy v dosahu.

10. Pre montáž nikdy nepoužívajte neoriginálne diely. Pri ich použití sa vystavujete
nebezpečenstvu poškodenia boxu a straty záruky. Náhradné originálne diely si môžete
objednať u svojho predajcu.
Opening and closing the box
The MD roof box is equipped with one or two standard security locks or a central lock.
Close the roof box by tilting the top evenly to fit the handle (s) at the top of the box into
the lock (s) at the bottom of the box. Check the closing of the front of the box by looking
at the top of the box overlapping the entire hem of the bottom of the box. The roof box
must be closed and locked without excessive force. The key can only be removed from
the lock in the locked position. Check the lock all around the box.
Before you go
1. Before each trip, check that the box is securely attached and then check that it is
tightened to the roof rack at regular intervals. The roof box must always be locked.
2. Failure to observe these conditions may result in loosening of the box, which may
cause serious accidents.
3. With the mounted roof box, take extra care when driving through lowered areas
(tunnels, underground garages, low-hanging items, car washers in which the box and
roof rack must always be removed).
4. Never exceed the load capacity of the vehicle roof.
5. Always adjust the drive to the load. Beware of sudden acceleration, braking,
cornering, side wind and other driving conditions.
6. For traffic safety, always adjust the road to the condition and nature of the road and
do not exceed 130 km/h.
7. Remove the carrier after use. This will reduce your operating costs.
8. Before cleaning, clean and treat the box. Use only household solutions that do not
damage the plastic surface. If necessary lubricate the locks and struts with lubricating
oils, ensuring that the oil does not come into contact with the box surface. Store the box
in a horizontal position.
9. Keep the instruction manual for the box within reach.
10. Never use non-genuine parts for assembly. When used, you are at risk of damage
to the box and loss of warranty. Orginal spare parts can be ordered from your dealer.
