    Trust Compact Scan USB 19200 1. Introduction This instruction manual is intended for users of the Trust Compact Scan USB 19200. Some experience with computers is necessary when installing this product. In case of doubt consult one of the Trust Customer Care Centres.

    Trust Compact Scan USB 19200 2. Safety Read the following instructions carefully before use: Do not use this equipment in humid environments like bathrooms, humid cellars, swimming pools, etc. Never insert objects into the openings on the outside of the device as you can come into contact with live electrical components.

    Select in the left window the language that you wish to use during the installation. See figure 2. Click on the button ‘Compact Scan USB 19200’ to start the installation of the TWAIN steering program. Select the preferred language version of the TWAIN steering program and click on ‘OK’.

    CD-ROM. Follow the directions below for the installation: Follow steps 1 to 5 of chapter 3.1 once again to start the Trust Software Installer. Click on the ‘Fine Reader 4.0 Sprint’ to start the installation.

    Trust Compact Scan USB 19200 12. You have completed the installation. Click on ‘OK’ to close down the installation. Installation Photo Express 3.0 Ulead Photo Express 3.0 is a drawing and processing program with a large number of options. You can use this program to process photographs.

    4. Use of the Scanner You can scan in two ways with the Trust Compact Scan USB 19200, namely via de Direct Scan application (easiest) and via the TWAIN interface screen (more possibilities). See chapters below for use of the scanner: Direct Scan application The ‘Direct Scan’...

    Start the program ‘Ulead Photo Express’. The once only ‘Device Type’ screen appears. Choose the option ‘Flatbed scanner’ to select the Trust compact Scan USB 19200 and click on ‘OK’. See figure 23. Figure 23: select scanner The main screen of Photo Express appears.

    Trust Compact Scan USB 19200 TWAIN settings There are a number of buttons in the TWAIN interface screen (see figure 26). See table below for a description of the buttons: Button Function Cropping Tool Select the field in the example window.

This file contains also two small images of the trail scan. All the changes that are made in the file are visible in the right-hand image.
