Begin by placing the robot pieces on the table on your child's helper hand
side. You can put them where your child will need to
stretch his/her helper arm to grasp them.
With your help, your child should take the cards out
of the bag.
Your child can then look through until he/she finds a
robot that he/she would like to make. Encourage
your child to use two hands to do this rather than
spreading the cards on the table and searching
with just the dominant hand.
He/she can use the red card-holder to keep the
card upright. The picture shows what robot your
child should make.
He/she will need to find the correct pieces and
build the robot. The challenge is to build it against
the clock. To start the clock, turn the green dial.
You might need to help with this too.
Your child can pause the clock by pressing the
green button.
