Olecranon XCLIP Installation And Usage Instructions

The package includes two (2) identical pieces that form the XCLIP holder when attached to the stem of the
forearm crutch. Do NOT remove the connecting tape from XCLIP pieces before the installation.

INSTALLING THE XCLIP

1. The XCLIP is installed on the smooth surface of the forearm
crutch, above the length adjustment holes.
2. Wipe the crutch stem clean of any dirt.
3. Sit on a chair and put one crutch on your lap.
4. Place the XCLIP over the stem and press it firmly against the
stem.
5. Flip the hanging XCLIP half under the stem firmly against the
top half.
6. Press firmly at the red markers
until you hear a click. Rotate the crutch around and repeat the
press at the other red marker.
7. Next lock the XCLIP also at both green markers
hear them click.

Ensure that each of the four latches are securely locked and
there is no gap between the pieces. You may now remove the
installation tape and the colored marker dots. The XCLIP is now
ready for use.
 If you are not able to squeeze until you hear the clicks, you
may use hairdryer to warm up the XCLIP gasket OR lubricate
the gaskets by soapy water. This allows easier locking of the
latches. You may also use pliers *)to finalize the installation.
 Please note that the XCLIP is designed to allow you to turn the
crutch while being attached to it. So it is normal that the crutch
rotates in the XCLIP. This enables you to aim the unused crutch
while climbing chairs etc. *) Please familiarize yourself with the
different usage scenarions by watching the user videos on our
website.
