The producer of the material guarantees min. 25 cycles before additional re-impregnation when the laundering instructions are followed. • Impregnation efficiency in real conditions may differ from the measured laboratory results and is influenced by several factors.

  • Page 8 Decontamination It is a set of methods, procedures and means for an effective removal of contaminants. It is necessary especially if the level of contamination exceeds the usual level of contamination and when it is not possible the garment safely clean and disinfect. An integral part of the overall maintenance of the firefighter clothing is their disinfection.
