Introduction Overview XiLOG is the name of Ovarro’s advanced, robust and waterproof (to IP68) range of multi-channel data loggers designed for the water industry. They may be equipped with a wide variety of sensors for clean and wastewater network monitoring.
Card (with 3G/2G fallback) or users may install their own. It also provides Bluetooth communications, full integration in to Ovarro's Primeweb data analytics platform and the ability to integrate in to other systems via API. This model is designed for applications where there is no requirement for high-speed data connections or very long battery life.
The XiLOG IOT comes with NBIoT / CATM1 modem (with 2G fallback) and Bluetooth communications, full integration in to Ovarro's Primeweb data analytics platform and the ability to integrate in to other systems via API. This model is specifically designed to meet the needs of...

Ovarro LD Ltd User Manual XiLOG 4G/IOT 2 System Components Software Components The XiLOG data logging system comprises three main components: the data logger (installed at site), the remote configuration software (XiLOG GO) and the remote data viewing/analysing platform (Primeweb).
Ovarro LD Ltd User Manual XiLOG 4G/IOT Primeweb 2.1.2 Primeweb is a cloud-based analytics solution for water network pressure, flow and leak location monitoring. This software allows real-time data collection of status/measurement data using 4G (with 3G/2G fallback) or IOT (with 2G fallback) modem.
Ovarro LD Ltd User Manual XiLOG 4G/IOT Connectors The XiLOG Data Logger has various connector options, cables and sensors that may be ordered. Sensors or cables supplied by Ovarro are factory-fitted with the appropriate connector. Pressure 2 Pressure 1 Digital Antenna...
Millivolt Input 3.2.1 The millivolt input option is normally fitted and configured at the factory by Ovarro. The millivolt pressure sensor must be of a bridge type, producing a differential signal in the 15mV range. The sensor is powered from the logger via the connector and is of a piezo-electric type commonly found in liquid pressure measurement.
Ovarro LD Ltd User Manual XiLOG 4G/IOT Digital Input Connector (Flow Sensors) The digital input connector option provides connection to an external flow sensor. Note: If the logger starts before the sensor is connected, no malfunction will occur but the data up to the time when the sensor was connected will be zero values.
Ovarro LD Ltd User Manual XiLOG 4G/IOT 4 Installation Introduction This section describes the XiLOG data logger installation and connection. Installation of the XiLOG Data Logger should only be carried out be trained personnel familiar with the product and its function.
Ovarro LD Ltd User Manual XiLOG 4G/IOT Connecting Using Bluetooth Communications Bluetooth communications is automatically enabled when the data logger is powered up. There is no configuration to do. Bluetooth technology uses the 2.4GHz ISM spectrum band (2400 to 2483.5 MHz), which enables a good balance between range and data throughput.
When the data logger is configured, check on Primeweb that the new site name is displayed and that the measurement/status data is being transmitted. For any queries about installation, please contact Ovarro Customer Support for further information. Document Number: Page 17 of 42 Template Number: IXD-956 iss 05 Version: 1.0...
The XiLOG GO app is used to configure data transmission from the data logger to Primeweb. A SIM card must be installed in the data logger to enable data transmission to Primeweb. SIM cards may be fitted at the factory by Ovarro or customers may choose to fit one themselves.
