Application
The Floating suction strainer AMPHIBIO is a device used with all most any pumping device
drawing water from an open source. This floating device is designed to receive water directly
from the water surface unlike conventional devices that draw from the bottom of the source
which risks the collection of debris into the pump. This strainer has a Universal positioning
design that allows you to drain wetlands and pump out flooded areas with depths as little as
2cm without the danger of debris entering the pump.
The Amphibio Floating strainer can be used to access just about any open water source.
Construction
The strainer consists of two main parts.
Floating chamber (2) and rotating suction chamber(1). This rotating suction part compensates
the load exerted by the suction hoses so the strainer always floats level and thus becomes self
leveling.
Suction chamber is equipped with a grill (4) and rubber clack valve (6). The clack valve is re-
leased with the aid of a pulling rope (8) connected with a karabiner to the lever (7), which
opens the valve.
With Ergonomic and modern design the strainer is also equipped with a carrying handle (9)
on each side.
