1. General
1.01 The NAC PS01 is a wall mountable power
supply that is designed to be used in applications
where 48Vdc power (1.35amp) is required. This
product is ideal for use with assemblies like the
NAC WM02 and WM04 Series of 2 and 4-position
T1/HDSL mountings.

prong AC outlet, and provides power output via the
attached 3 conductor power cord (5'-7").

2. Installation
2.01 The PS01 is designed to be used with
Telecom apparatus cases such as the NAC
WM02, WM04 and WM08 Series 2, 4 and 8-slot
T1/HDSL mountings (or their equivalents). The
PS01 can power up to 8 T1/HDSL modules. The
PS01 provides a mounting bracket for installations
where wall mounting of the PS01 is required.

Wiring Connections
2.02 The PS01 derives its power from a standard
3-prong AC wall outlet. The PS01 delivers power
to the assembly via a 5'7" 3-conductor power
cable. Spade lugs on the end of the cable are
connected to the appropriate screw terminal lugs
(power terminal) on the assembly. The powering
connections are listed below in Table 1.

2.03 The following warning information is
required by the UL Safety Testing Laboratory:
A. Never install telephone wiring during a
lightning storm.
B. Never install telephone jacks in wet locations
unless the jack is specifically designed for wet
locations.
C. Use caution when installing or modifying
telephone lines.
D. Never touch un-insulated telephone wires or
terminals unless disconnected at the network
interface.
