    3.Nominal diameter selection Select one with a nominal diameter equivalent to or more than the suction (suck) side of the pump. If one with a smaller nominal diameter is used, the specified flow rate cannot be maintained in some cases. (The following figure shows the Cv value and calculating formula). If the nominal diameter of the piping is selected, refer to the standard flow rate specified by the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) as an appropriate piping nominal diameter selection method.
