You can use the SFP modules for connecting to other devices. Only use Silver Peak SFP / SFP+ / SFP28 modules in your Silver Peak chassis. Each module has an internal serial EEPROM that is encoded with security information. This encoding provides a way for the Silver Peak chassis to identify and validate that the module meets the requirements for the device.
