General Power tool use and care Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed. Before using the charger, read all the instructions and cautionary markings on the charger and battery pack as well as the instructions on the battery pack. This model V20L0CH2B1 charger and VETERAN TOOL battery models V20L0BP2B1, V20L0BP4B1 and V20L0BP5B1 are specifically designed to work together. Do not attempt to charge the battery pack with any other charger than the one supplied or attempt to use this charger to charge other batteries.
BEFORE USING THE EQUIPMENT Remove any packing material and loose parts from unit. Check the accessories before use. They should fit with the machine and your purpose. If the battery is new it should be fully charged before use. Batteries are shipped with only a partial charge. NOTE: Extended periods of storage without charge/discharge cycles will reduce the battery capacity.

OPERATION OF DRILL Variable-Speed Trigger Switch Turn the drill on by depressing the trigger switch. Depressing the switch further will produce more speed and torque. Side-Mounted Forward/Reverse Switch Use side mounted Forward/Reverse Switch to change the direction of rotation of the drill. The Use side mounted Forward/Reverse Switch has three positions: Forward, (pushed to the left), Off (middle) and Reverse (pushed to the right).
General screwdriving Clamp your workpiece. Drill pilot holes for larger screws or when driving screws into hardwoods. Exert just enough pressure to start the screw and keep it turning. Do not force the screw. Let the tool do the work. Use a speed that will not strip the screw head or break the screw.
