CHU200M Quick Start Guide
Powering the CHU200M
The CHU200M is powered via USB. This can either be supplied from a computer (e.g. Point Of Sale (POS) computer) or a USB wall adapter using the
cable provided. The provided cable can be fastened into the device with the provided screw or plugged and unplugged as necessary. The CHU200M is
shipped in a low power shipping mode to preserve battery life. It will wake up when power is applied via a cable or the charging cradle.
A charging cradle is available. It uses the same USB cable and USB supply as the CHU200M. If ordered, the cradle is included in this box underneath the
CHU200M device.
Device Drivers and Software
The CHU200M USB lead includes an FT230X FTDI USB to serial converter. A standard USB cable will charge the device, but to communicate with your
POS system the specific cable (Payment Express part MW0124 or MW0125) must be used. Drivers for these cables can be found at
https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm. For information on configuring your POS system, please contact PX technical support.
