HOW TO OPERATE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL Turn the temperature control dial to select the desired fabric setting. The preheat light will come on. When the iron reaches the selected temperature the preheat light will go off. ANTI-CALC SYSTEM A special filter inside the water tank softens the water and prevents scale buildup in the soleplate.

HOW TO OPERATE Note: When using steam for the first time, DO NOT direct the steam toward the item to be ironed. Factory dust may be released from the steam holes on the bottom of the soleplate. USING STEAM 1. Place the iron in a vertical position. Unplug and set the temperature control dial to OFF.
