ADJUSTING THE LIGHT BEAM ANGLE - "ZOOM" The newest line of lights from
Tovatec allows the diver to adjust between a concentrated beam (for Technical diving) to
a wide beam angle (for Photo or Video lighting) at any time. Simply slide the head of the
torch forward and back to get the light beam you want. The beam ranges from 12-100°.
"MULTI-MODE" COLOR CHARGE INDICATION SWITCH Fusion lights feature a
battery indicator that is green at full power, yellow at half power and red when the battery
power is low. It will flash red before shutting off. The lights work at 100%, 50%,30% and
SOS. Push button and release to move between modes. Hold button for 3 seconds to turn
off light without running through all light modes. After every dive, wash thoroughly in fresh
running water to remove any iron sand as well as dirt and salt.
CLEANING LENS COVER Fusion lights feature removable light heads. Should your lens
or LED become dirty, please remove (unscrew) the light head and clean both the lens and
LED with a soft dry cloth. Screw the light head back on after cleaning.
O-RING CARE Inspect O-rings to be sure they are clean and free of dust, debris, hair,
sand, etc. before using underwater. Lightly lubricate O-rings with silicone grease prior to
use and maintain lubrication at all times.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES The burn-time of rechargeable batteries varies. Please
refer to Table One for burn times. Burn-time is affected by:
Operating temperature - Do not use at highly elevated temperatures for extended
periods of time.
Storage temperature - Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature

(20-25° Celsius/ 68-77° Fahrenheit).
Time period the light was out of use. For extended storage, discharge a lithium-ion
(B)
battery to about 40 percent (or approximately 1 hour on a fully charged battery) and
store it in a cool, dry place. Warning: always take batteries out of light when storing
(C)
longer than 30 days.
Avoid completely discharging lithium ion batteries - Battery experts suggest that after
30 charges, you should allow lithium-ion batteries to almost completely discharge.
Continuous partial discharges create a condition called digital memory, decreasing the
(D)
accuracy of the device's power gauge. So let the battery discharge to the cut-off point
and then recharge. The power gauge will be recalibrated. For safety reasons,
do not recharge deeply discharged lithium-ion batteries if they have been stored in that
condition for several months.
(E) Use of used/low quality rechargeable batteries.
RECHARGING LITHIUM ION BATTERIES
WARNING: DO NOT RECHARGE THE BATTERY NEAR FLAMMABLE ITEMS AND/OR
PRODUCTS. Do not leave in the charger for more than 12 hours.
• Unscrew the end cap.
• Take out the battery and place into charging unit with correct polarity.
• A red LED indicates that the torch is charging.
• When charging is complete, the green LED switches on.
• Place the battery back into light, positive side first.
• Fully screw down the end cap.
WARNING: When using rechargeable lithium ion batteries use only Tovatec brand
batteries or batteries sold by major manufacturers that have the same voltage, mAh
and watt hour ratings as original batteries. Batteries must include over / under voltage
protection circuit.
ALKALINE & RECHARGEABLE ALKALINE BATTERIES When using alkaline and
rechargeable alkaline batteries use only major brand batteries. Batteries must not exceed 1.5
Volts. Always replace batteries in complete sets, do not mix old batteries with new batteries.
BATTERY DISPOSAL Rechargeable lithium ion batteries as well as alkaline and rechargeable
alkaline batteries must all be disposed of or recycled in compliance with all applicable laws.
Never throw into a fire, as batteries may explode. Keep batteries away from children
PRESSURE SAFETY VALVE Tovatec Fusion lights have been designed with pressure safety
valves that provide an additional level of protection to the lights should battery out-gassing
occur. This is a premium feature that we are pleased to include with all lights in the Fusion line.
WARNINGS
• Remove the batteries if the light will not be used for long periods or during transport.
• If you anticipate extended periods of no use, recharge the battery every 3 months.
• Make sure the end cap is closed tightly before each dive.
• Never point the light directly into eyes.
• Never try to open or disassemble the Pressure Safety Valve.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
• Rinse the outside of the torch in fresh water after every dive. NEVER disassemble the light.
• Periodically check the condition of the o-rings, lubricate on a regular basis and replace as needed.
WARRANTY We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason your
light fails or malfunctions due to a factory defect, you can return it within 12 months of
consumer purchase for repair and/or replacement. Light must be evaluated to determine
defect. Proof of Purchase from an authorized dealer within the past 12 months must be
included with all warranty returns. Please return your light to the place of purchase if outside
of North America. Commercial and Rental use is not covered. Any lights or batteries that
have been disassembled void warranty. Warranty is not transferable. For additional

AJUSTAR EL ÁNGULO DEL RAYO DE LUZ - "ZOOM" La nueva línea de linternas de Tovatec
le permite al buzo ajustar entre un rayo concentrado (para el Buceo Técnico) y un rayo de gran
ángulo (Para la iluminación de fotografías o videos) en cualquier momento. Simplemente deslice
la cabeza de la linterna hacia delante y hacia atrás para obtener el rayo de luz que usted desea. El

INTERRUPTOR DE INDICACIÓN DE CARGA DE COLOR Las luces Fusion cuentan con un

LIMPIEZA DE LA TAPA DEL LENTE Las luces Fusion tienen cabezas removibles. Si sus lentes o
LEDs se ensucian, por favor remueva (desatornille) la cabeza y limpie tanto los lentes y los LEDs con
un pañuelo seco. Atornille la cabeza después de la limpieza.
CUIDADO DE LA JUNTA TÓRICA Inspecciona la junta tórica para asegurarse de que están limpias
y libres de polvo, desechos, cabello, arena, etc. antes de estar abajo del agua. Lubrique ligeramente
las juntas tóricas con grasa de silicona antes de usar y mantener lubricación en todo momento.
BATERIAS RECARGABLES El tiempo de funcionamiento de las baterías recargables varía. Por
favor diríjase al Cuadro 1 para ver los tiempos de funcionamiento. El tiempo de funcionamiento
es afectado por:
(A) La temperatura de funcionamiento - No use en temperaturas muy elevadas por largos periodos
de tiempo.
(B) La temperatura de almacenaje - Almacene en un lugar fresco y seco a temperatura ambiente
(20-25° Celsius/ 68-77° Fahrenheit).
(C) El tiempo en que la linterna estuvo sin uso. Por periodos extendidos de almacenamiento,
descargue una batería de lithium-ion en un 40 por cierto (o aproximadamente 1 hora de una
bacteria completamente cargada) y almacénela en un lugar fresco y seco. Advertencia: siempre
retire las baterías de la linterna cuando se almacene en por más de 30 días.
(D) La descarga de las baterías de lithium-ion por completo -Los expertos de baterías sugieren
que después de 30 recargas, debería dejar que las baterías de lithium-ion se descarguen
por completo. Descargas parciales continuas crean una condición llamada memoria digital,
reduciendo la exactitud de la medición de potencia del dispositivo. Así que deje que la batería
se descargue hasta el punto de corte y luego recargue. La medición de potencia estará
recalibrada. Por razones de seguridad, no recargue profundamente las baterías de lithium-ion
si han sido almacenadas en esa condición por algunos meses.
(E) El uso de baterías recargables usadas o de baja calidad.
BATERÍAS DE LITHIUM-ION RECARGABLES
ADVERTENCIA: NO RECARGUE LA BATERÍA CERCA DE OBJETOS Y/O PRODUCTOS
INFLAMABLES.No deje en el cargador por más de 12 horas.
• Desatornille el casquillo.
• Retire la batería y coloque en la unidad de recarga con la polaridad correcta.
• Una luz LED roja indica que la linterna se está cargando.
• Cuando esté completamente cargado, la luz LED verde se enciende.
• Coloque la batería de vuelta, en el lado positivo primero.
• Atornille completamente el casquillo.
ADVERTENCIA: Cuando use baterías de lithium-ion recargables, use solamente baterías de la
marca de Tovatec o baterías vendidas por fabricantes reconocidos que tengan el mismo voltaje,
mAh y ratio de vatio-hora como las baterías originales.
PILAS ALCALINAS Y PILAS ALCALINAS RECARGABLES Cuando use pilas alcalinas y pilas
alcalinas recargables, use solamente baterías de marcas reconocidas. Las baterías no deben
exceder los 1,5 voltios. Siempre reemplace las baterías en juegos completos, no mezcle baterías
viejas con las baterías nuevas.
ELIMINACIÓN DE LAS BATERÍAS Las baterías recargables de lithium-ion al igual que las pilas
alcalinas y las pilas recargables alcalinas deben ser desechadas o recicladas de acuerdo a todas
las leyes aplicables. Nunca arroje al fuego, ya que las baterías pueden explotar. Mantenga las
baterías fuera del alcance de los niños.
VÁLVULA DE SEGURIDAD A PRESIÒN Las luces Fusion de Tovatec han sido diseñadas con
válvulas de seguridad a presión que proveen un nivel de protección adicional a las luces en caso
de detección de líquidos. Esta es una característica Premium que nos complace en incluir en todas
nuestras luces en la línea Fusion.
ADVERTENCIAS
• Remueva las baterías si la luz no será usada por largos periodos de tiempo o durante su transporte.
• Si anticipa periodos de desuso, recargue la batería cada 3 meses.
• Asegúrese de que el casquillo esté cerrado bien antes de cada buceo.
• Nunca apunte la luz directamente a los ojos.
• Nunca intente abrir o desarmar la Válvula de Seguridad a Presión.
MANTENIMIENTO DE RUTINA
• Enjuague el exterior de la linterna con agua fresca después de cada buceo. NUNCA desarme
la linterna.
• Revise periódicamente las condiciones de las juntas tóricas, lubrique regularmente y reemplace
cuando sea necesario.
GARANTÍA Queremos que usted esté 100% satisfecho con sus compras. Si por alguna razón su
linterna falla o no funciona correctamente, usted la puede regresar en un periodo de 12 horas
desde la compra del producto para su reparación y/o reemplazo. La Prueba de la Compra de
un Distribuidor Autorizado en un periodo de 12 horas desde la compra del producto debe estar
incluida en todos los procedimientos de garantía. Por favor regrese su linterna al lugar de comprar
si la compra fue hecha fuera de Norte América. El uso comercial o de arriendo no se cubre.
Cualquier linterna o batería que haya sido desarmada invalida la garantía. La garantía no es
