This new dialog also supports virtual private network (VPN) and dial-up connections (including Connection Manager and Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet [PPPoE]).

If your wireless network adapter appears in the Network Connections folder as a wired connection, ensure that you have installed the latest driver for your adapter that is designed for Windows Vista.

The Security tab is the only location where you can configure shared key authentication because its use is highly discouraged.
