Instructions for Setting Up and Using the Couch / Chair Mounting Accessory Kit
This kit contains everything you need to easily use a ButtKicker with most any chair or couch.
Before beginning, please make sure you have the following:
.
• One mounting plate with neoprene disc and
rubber isolator feet.
• Four ¼" x ¾" carriage bolts.
• Four star washers.
• Four locking nuts with nylon inserts.
• Five rubber isolators for use under the
furniture's other legs.
• Five #10 screws.
Attach the ButtKicker to the Mounting Plate:
1. Make sure the mounting plate is sitting on its rubber feet and the neoprene disc is facing up. Set the
ButtKicker over the large hole and line up the holes in the feet of the ButtKicker with the square holes of the
mounting plate.
Note: The ButtKicker will line up with the square holes two different ways. Either way will work.
2. Insert the carriage bolts from the bottom of the mounting plate so that the threads are sticking up through
the ButtKicker's feet. DO NOT insert the bolts down through the ButtKicker and then through the mounting
plate.
3. Be sure that the square shoulder on each carriage bolt fits into the square hole in the mounting plate.
4. Place one star washer on each bolt and then tighten a nylon inserted nut onto each carriage bolt. A
wrench is provided for your convenience.
Positioning the Mounting Plate with Your Furniture:
• If your furniture only has four legs (or feet), then the mounting plate can be located under a leg at any
corner.
• If your furniture has six or more legs, then the mounting plate ideally should be located under the (a)
center leg on the rear of the furniture. Of course, it can also be located under a leg at any corner.

• ButtKicker Power Amplifier, BKA1000-4. Sold
