 and the IR light source In order for the HORSE PROTECTOR to protect your horse in the best possible way, optimal positioning of the unit and the associated IR lamp is of crucial importance.
  • Page 13 Mount the HORSE PROTECTOR and the IR lamp with the mounting screws next to each other at the optimal height of 3.5 meters. 
 A minimum mounting height of 3.2 meters should be achieved and 
 3.7 meters must not be exceeded. There shouldn’t be any reflective surfaces or bright, external light sources in the guard's field of vision.
