SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE

Always disconnect power
to the machine before
performing maintenance.
Failure to do this may
result in serious person-
al injury.

Schedule

For optimum performance from your machine,
follow this maintenance schedule and refer to any
specific instructions given in this section.
Daily Check:
Check table top.
Check filters.
Loose mounting bolts.
Worn or damaged wires.
Any other unsafe condition.
Weekly Check:
Check filters.
Monthly Check:
Clean/vacuum dust buildup from inside cabi-
net and off motor.

Cleaning

Cleaning the Model G0626/G0627 is relatively
easy and will prolong the life of your downdraft
table.
1.
Wipe the table top with a clean rag. If your
table surface gets gummy from wood pitch,
you can use a non-corrosive blade cleaner
like Oxisolv
(Model G1955) to easily remove
®
it without harming the tabletop surface. DO
NOT clean with products that will harm the
paint on the table surface like brake parts
cleaner, acetone, or gasoline.

Remove the filter bag, vacuum excess dust
from the cabinet interior, and reinstall the fil-
ter bag.

Filters

The filters may need to be serviced if suction is
noticeably reduced. The amount of use has a
direct bearing on how often you must service the
filter.
Always wear a dust mask
and safety glasses when
servicing and changing
filters.

To service the filters:
1.
DISCONNECT
DOWNDRAFT TABLE!
2.
Open the cabinet door and remove the filter
bag.
3.
Gently empty the contents of the filter bag
inside a garbage can.
4.
Reinstall the filter bag and close the cabinet
door.
