Bypassing Chiller During Service - Unitrol 8400 Manual

INITIAL STARTUP

BYPASSING CHILLER DURING SERVICE

The chiller can be inspected and adjusted with all exterior panels removed.
However if it is required that the chiller be taken off line, and water flow is still required, set the
water valves (as shown on the plumbing diagram on page 19) as follows:
CONNECTING LOAD TO BUILDING LINE AND DRAIN:
TURN OFF VALVES: #3, #4, and M
TURN ON VALVES: #1 and #2
CONNECTING LOAD TO CHILLER:
TURN ON VALVES #3, #4, and M
TURN OFF VALVES: #1, and #2
