This chapter describes how to install the ITI-2135 and ITI-2147 Riser Cards in your PCI based bus master compatible computer. The ITI-2135 and ITI-2147 Risers are Plug and Play on the host system’s PCI bus, and no configuration of the riser hardware is necessary.

Locate a free PCI expansion slot (small white connector on the system’s motherboard) and remove the screw(s) and metal bracket(s) for the slot(s) to be filled by cards installed into the Riser Card. Be certain not to install the riser in an ISA or EISA slot.

PRODUCT WARRANTY LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY ITI warrants to only the original licensee that the Riser Card is free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three years from the date of purchase. In the event of a defect in Riser Card material or workmanship during such warranty period, ITI, at its discretion, will repair or replace the defective product when the defective product is returned to ITI by the original licensee.
