Press the TV CH+/- buttons to change channels. The TV changes each channel in order, up or down, depending on which button you press. You will see all the channels that the TV has memorized. (The TV must have memorized at least three channels.) You will not see channels that were not memorized or have been erased. -

SAP is often a foreign-language translation, or unrelated information like news or weather. Shortcut: Press the MTS/SAP button. -

2/23/05 Using the V-CHIP The V-CHIP feature automatically blocks TV programs based on their ratings. You must first enter a password before any of the V-CHIP restrictions can be set up or changed. The V-chip does not function when Picture-in- Picture is active. - Page 21 The MPAA rating system uses the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) system, which applies primarily to movies. Many videocassettes are also encoded with MPAA ratings. When the V-CHIP is enabled, the TV will automatically block any programs that are coded with objectionable ratings (either MPAA or TV- Ratings).
