Safety Instructions

CAUTION: To be used by adults or by children
when under adult supervision
CAUTION: Sharp blade, take care when handling
or changing the blade

operation of this paper trimmer
Operating Instructions (see fig. 2)
• Place the trimmer on a stable, flat surface such as a
table.
1. Place the material to be trimmed under the
transparent paper guide. Use the calibrated grid
and ruler to ensure a precise cut.
2. Hold the material securely in place with your left
hand. Press down on the blade carrier cap with your
right hand.
3. Slide the blade carrier down the cutter rail before
applying pressure to the blade carrier cap and push
the blade carrier up through the material.
• Do not carry the trimmer by holding onto the cutter rail
or cutter head
• Remove staples, paper clips etc before cutting
• Do not cut metal film or film containing glass etc.
• Do not cut more sheets than the stated sheet capacity

Changing the Cutting Cartridge
(see fig. 3)
1. Open the carrier cap
2. Remove the blade cartridge
3. Place in the relevant storage slot
4. Select an alternative blade cartridge
5. Place in the blade cartridge carrier
6. Close the carrier cap
Cutting Mat (see fig. 4)
The cutting mat has four cutting positions (2 each side).
When blade does not cut cleanly, either rotate the mat
or flip over to new cutting surface. When mat has been
used completely on all four positions, replace it.

Maintenance

• Trimmers can be cleaned with a dry lint-free cloth
• Check the blade carrier and cutter rail for a secure fit
from time to time
• Do not attempt to service or repair the unit yourself
Guarantee
• Operation of this machine is guaranteed for 5 years
within the date of purchase, subject to normal use.
Within the guarantee period, ACCO Brands Europe
will at its own discretion either repair or replace the
defective machine free of charge. Defects due to
misuse or use for inappropriate purposes are not
covered under the guarantee.
• Proof of date of purchase will be required. Repairs
or alterations made by persons not authorised by
ACCO Brands Europe will invalidate the guarantee.
It is our aim to ensure that our products perform to
the specifications stated. This guarantee does not
affect the legal rights which consumers have under
applicable national legislation governing sale of goods.
