Cleaning the air Þ lter compartment / fan com-

Remove cover.
Remove the fan housing.
CAUTION: To prevent eye injury, always wear eye protection
when cleaning the Þ lter with compressed air!
The entire area (1) can now be brushed clean or cleaned with
compressed air.
Cleaning the cylinder Þ ns
A bottle brush can be used to clean the cylinder Þ ns.

Replacing the suction head

The felt Þ lter (2) of the suction head can become clogged.
It is recommended to replace the suction head once every
three months in order to ensure unimpeded fuel ß ow to the
carburetor.
To remove the suction head for replacement, pull it out through

the tank Þ ller neck using a piece of wire bent at one end to
form a hook.
