  • Page 12 Generally, the Windows operating system will automatically select any new audio device as the new default audio device. This may or may not be your preference, depending how to use your computer. You may prefer to have your normal computer sounds directed to your current audio device, rather then the speaker on the phone, and only use the audio functionality in the phone for VoIP calls.
  • Page 13 USB Skype telephone Notice that the default device for sound playback is currently set to "Generic USB Audio Device". This is the name that Windows assigns the USB phone. To change your default audio device to your original sound card, simply click on the drop-down list box and select your preferred device.
