    Installing Batteries Your sensor comes with 2 AA alkaline batteries which must be installed before use. We recommend alkaline batteries only in this sensor. Gently pull the front of the sensor forward using the battery access tab on top of the sensor to release the front of the main unit.
  • Page 4 NOTE: We recommend performing setup in the same location you intend to place your sensor. Download and open the iHome Control app from the App Store or Google Play. Login to or create an iHome account Press sensors icon and then the Add Device Button.
  • Page 5 Sensor Placement and Operation When placing your leak sensors: • Ensure the leak detection probes are placed face down in a location that may experience water flow early. This may be a low point in a basement, in or near a sump pump, behind a washing machine, near sinks, toilets, hot water heaters, etc.
