NOTE:
The filter cover must be inserted correctly for the dust container to fit into its mounting bracket.
Pressing firmly will not help if the cover has not been positioned precisely.

5. Hold the motor protection filter together with the holder
over a dustbin. Only separate both parts after the above
steps have been executed.
6. Thoroughly rinse out the two parts by hand with clear
cold water (Fig. 29).
ATTENTION:
The filter is washable, but it may not be cleaned in dish-
washers or washing machines. Do not use cleaning
agents to clean the filter. Then let the filter elements dry
(approx. 24 hours at room temperature). Only put them
back into the appliance when they are completely dry.
7. If the filter is damaged, replace it (Zchapter 5.3, "Ac-
cessories and spare parts").
8. Insert the clean and dry motor protection filter back into
its holder.
9. Put the motor protection filter with its holder back into
the filter bracket.
10. Replace the filter cover by hooking it in precisely on the
top first (Fig. 30).
The edges of the filter cover and the filter bracket
must be exactly flush (Fig. 30).
If this is not the case, refit the filter cover (Fig. 30).
11. Then engage the locking mechanism of the filter cover
by pressing it (Fig. 31) until it audibly snaps into place.
12. Press the dust container firmly into its mounting bracket
until it audibly snaps into place.
13. Ensure that the dust container is securely fitted.
