If the distance between the ceiling and the unit is above 35mm, add some ceiling material to shorten the distance.
  • Page 23 DC Inverter U-match Series Cassette Type Unit (2) Installing the Main Body Unit. 1) Install the hoisting stand on the hoisting screw by using nuts and gaskets at both the upper and lower sides of the hoisting stand. To prevent the gasket from breaking off, a gasket anchor board can be helpful.
  • Page 24 DC Inverter U-match Series Cassette Type Unit 3.2.2 Outdoor Unit Installation (1) If the outdoor unit is installed on a solid ground such as concrete, use M10 screw bolts and nuts to secure the unit and make sure the unit stands erect and level.
  • Page 25 DC Inverter U-match Series Cassette Type Unit Installation method: Connect the connection pipes first to the indoor unit and then to the outdoor unit. When bending a connection pipe, be careful not to damage the pipe. Do not over-tighten the screw nut, otherwise leakage will occur. Besides, the outside of connection pipe should be added with a layer of insulating cotton to protect it from mechanical damage during installation, maintenance and transportation.

Its wall thickness should be 0.5-1.0mm and the pipe wall should be able to withstand 6.0MPa. The longer the connection pipe is, the worse cooling and heating performance it has. When the drop between indoor and outdoor units is larger than 10m, an oil return bend should be added every 6 meters.

Note that the gas and liquid valve can be opened fully only after the manifold valve assembly is removed.

    DC Inverter U-match Series Cassette Type Unit Cylinders shall be complete with pressure relief valve and associated shut-off valves in good working order. Empty recovery cylinders are evacuated and, if possible, cooled before recovery occurs. The recovery equipment shall be in good working order with a set of instructions concerning the equipment that is at hand and shall be suitable for the recovery of flammable refrigerants.
