IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons, including the following:
Read all instructions before using this Fan.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR PERSONAL INJURY, ALWAYS
FOLLOW THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS:
DO NOT use this fan to ventilate areas where flammable liquids or vapors are used, stored or are present, including paints,
gasoline, varnishes, floor refinishing products or solvents. ALWAYS read and follow all warnings and instructions on the
containers for these products!
ALWAYS be sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet. When plugs fit loosely into outlets, they may slip partially out of the
outlet and create a poor connection. This may cause outlets to overheat and create a potential fire hazard. Outlets in this
condition should be replaced by a qualified electrician.
ALWAYS unplug the power cord when servicing, cleaning or moving the Fan. DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch as the sole
means of disconnecting power. NEVER leave children unattended when the Fan is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn off and
unplug the Fan when not in use.
BE CERTAIN that the power source for the Fan is 120V AC. DO NOT plug the Fan into 240V or other power source.
The Blue Plug™ on your Lasko fan is a safety feature. It contains a non-replaceable safety device (fuse) that should not be
removed or tampered with. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, DO NOT attempt to remove, replace,
repair or tamper with the originally supplied plug. If the Fan has stopped functioning, it may be due to the safety device incor-
porated in this plug. Call 1-800-233-0268, Monday - Friday 8:00 am and 5:00 pm EST for questions. If the plug warning label
is missing or damaged, call the toll free number for a replacement label.
THIS FAN HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to fit into the outlet only one
way. Match the wide blade to wide slot in outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety feature.
If the plug does not fit in the outlet, consult a qualified electrician. The outlet may need to be replaced.
DO NOT DEPEND ON THE ON/OFF SWITCH AS THE SOLE MEANS OF DISCONNECTING POWER WHEN SERVICING
OR MOVING THE FAN. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. ALWAYS TURN OFF AND UNPLUG FAN BEFORE
LEAVING THE AREA. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED WHEN THE FAN IS ON OR PLUGGED IN.
CAUTION
• AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet style air fresheners or other cord connected device, as these
devices may overheat and cause a fire hazard.
•DO NOT route power cord under rugs, carpets, runners or furniture. This may damage the cord or cause it to overheat creating a fire
hazard.
•ALWAYS place the Fan on a stable, flat, level surface while in operation to prevent the Fan from overturning.
•NEVER insert or allow fingers or objects to enter grill openings while Fan is in operation or injury and/or damage to the Fan may occur.
•DO NOT block, cover or obstruct air flow to or from the fan while in operation.
•DO NOT use this Fan outdoors or near water or wet locations such as a bath tub, pool or hot tub. Use of this Fan in a wet location
may create a shock hazard.
•DO NOT route power cord in or through areas such as doorways or where the cord may be damaged or create a tripping hazard.
•NEVER use a single extension cord to operate more than one Fan or other electrical device.
•DO NOT use this Fan in a window. Rain may create an electrical hazard.
•DO NOT use this Fan if it has been damaged or is not functioning properly.
•THIS FAN DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 547-7 (2008).This Fan is not suitable for use in agricultural
facilities including areas where livestock, poultry or other animals are confined. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article
547-7 (2008), or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical requirements for agricultural buildings.
•THIS FAN DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 500 (2008).This Fan is not suitable for use in hazardous
locations. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 500 or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical
requirements for hazardous locations.
REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK - DO NOT USE THIS FAN WITH ANY SOLID STATE SPEED
CONTROL DEVICES.

MAINTENANCE

- Toujours débrancher le cordon avant de déplacer, d'effectuer un service ou un nettoyage sur le Ventilateur.
- NE JAMAIS placer le Ventilateur dans l'eau ou près de l'eau.
- Les pièces en plastique se nettoient avec un détergent doux et une éponge humide. Enlever soigneusement le
savon à l'eau claire et bien sécher le ventilateur. Poudésassembler, procéder dans l'ordre inverse de l'assemblage.
- NE JAMAIS utiliser d'ALCOOL ou de SOLVANT tel que de l'essence, du benzène, du diluant à peinture, ou autres
nettoyeurs forts.
Après avoir nettoyé le Ventilateur tel que recommandé ci-dessus, tous les gardes et couvercles DOIVENT ÊTRE replacés
avant utilisation. Un manquement à ce faire pourrait résulter en de sérieuses blessures personnelles.
SERVICE:
Pour un service, autre que la maintenance générale à faire par l'utilisateur, veuillez communiquer avec notre service à la clientèle au numéro
(800) 233-0268, du lundi au vendredi, entre 8h00 et 17H00, heure de l'Est.
RANGEMENT:
Entreposer le Ventilateur, avec ces instructions, dans son emballage d'origine dans un endroit sec et frais.
LUBRIFICATION:
Les roulements de précision sont scellés à l'usine pour la durée de leur vie utile et n'exigent aucune autre lubrification.

CE QUE Lasko FERA : Lasko va, à sa seule discrétion, réparer ou remplacer toute pièce ou toutes pièces qui sera (seront) jugée(s) défectueuse(s) ou
remplacera le produit complet par le même modèle ou un modèle comparable. Pour toute réclamation sur garantie, le produit doit être retourné à Lasko
Products, Inc. aux frais du client, avec la preuve d'achat, pendant la période de garantie. Contacter le service à la clientèle de Lasko pour obtenir une
autorisation de retour (" RA "). NE PAS retourner le produit sans avoir obtenu un RA sinon la réclamation sous garantie ne sera pas traitée.
CE QUE LA GARANTIE NE COUVRE PAS : Cette garantie ne s'applique pas si le produit fut endommagé ou a faillé en raison d'un accident, d'une
utilisation ou d'une manipulation impropre, dommage lors de l'expédition, abus, mauvais usage, réparations non-autorisées effectuées ou tentées. Cette
garantie ne couvre pas les frais d'expédition pour le retour de produits à Lasko pour réparation ou remplacement. Lasko paiera les frais d'expédition
encourus par Lasko pour vous retourner le produit suivant les réparations ou le remplacement sous garantie.

IMPLICITE INCLURE (I) DOMMAGES CONSÉCUTIFS OU INDIRECTS DE TOUTE CAUSE QUELLE QU'ELLE SOIT, OU (II) LE REMPLACEMENT OU LA
RÉPARATION DE TOUT FUSIBLE RÉSIDENTIEL, DE TOUT DISJONCTEUR, PRISE DE COURANT OU RÉCEPTACLE. NONOBSTANT TOUTE CHOSE
CONTRAIRE, EN AUCUN CAS LA RESPONSABILITÉ DE Lasko SOUS TOUTE GARANTIE EXPRESSE OU IMPLICITE NE DOIT EXCÉDER LE PRIX D'ACHAT
DU PRODUIT ET TOUTE RESPONSABILITÉ TELLE DOIT EXPIRER AU MOMENT DE L'EXPIRATION DE LA PÉRIODE DE GARANTIE.
