mobilising themselves.

outdoors

operated manually by the disabled user*

*A disabled user is a disabled person or a person not having the full capacity to walk unaided

The Coopers Elbow Crutch is intended for a single user and is a

non invasive device

Please read all instructions before use.

A full assessment of the user's specific requirements is needed before

selecting crutches. A number of different gaits or walking patterns can

be used depending on the individual, and it is therefore important that

adequate support and consequently, safety, is achieved.

A physiotherapist should advise on the most appropriate walking

pattern when using crutches.

Page 2 ELBOW CRUTCHES ADJUSTMENT Permanent User Crutches come in two handle styles and are supplied in one standard length only. Handle to Cuff length 229 mm (This dimension cannot be altered) Handle to Floor length 960 mm The length of the leg may be cut to size using a metal saw. The cut end should be smoothed with an emery cloth or a small file.
