Step 3: ASSEMBLE THE CAB FRAME ON THE MOUNTING BAR Notice on the assembled mounting bar the four upright posts. Insert one middle Rib [C] onto each of these four posts, making sure the tapered male end with the PVC tube is pointing up. Take the remaining four middle ribs [C] and insert them onto the installed middle ribs (one on each), sliding them into the PVC tubes on the lower installed set of middle ribs. Next, insert the four upper ribs [B] into the PVC tubes on the upper most middle ribs. Rotate the free ends of the upper ribs so the all face each other. Find the top connector [A] and insert each open end of the middle ribs into the PVC tubes on each tube stub of the top connector. (Fig. 4) Make sure that every PVC tube connection is secure. Fig. 4 Step 4: INSTALL THE CAB SKIN Drape the cab skin [F] over the frame. Be careful not to scratch the plastic windows. Working from the inside, gradually pull the skin over the frame. Locate the hook and loop straps along each front corner of the skin on the inside and fasten them to the front middle ribs of the frame. Next, locate the hook and loop sleeves along the back ends of the skin and attach to the rear middle ribs of the frame. (Fig. 5) Locate the web straps along the bottom part of the skin and attach to the Fig. 5 mounting bar. (Fig. 6) These web straps help keep the frame tight. Note: The cab skin is designed to fit snugly to the cab frame. It may take some effort to work the skin down over the cab frame and get the fit just right.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Periodically check all bolts to see that they are tight. If one or more bolts come loose, failure of cab parts may occur. • Don’t clean the plastic windows when they are dry—you can scratch them. The best way to clean your windows is to hose them with water and rub them with a soft cloth. Liquid soap may be used. • Fabric areas of the cab may be washed with a wet rag. Don’t use soap as it may remove protective coatings added by the factory. • Store in a clean dry place. Never store a wet cover in an enclosed area as it can become mildewed. • ALWAYS remove the cover before transporting your snow thrower on a truck or trailer. Use during transportation can damage your cab. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action All the frame tubes are not inserted tightly. Check all tube joints to make sure all are tight. Cab frame wobbles. Cab frame is loose. Web straps on bottom of cab skin are loose. Tighten web straps on bottom of cab skin. Cab is too low for proper use. Mounting bar mounted too low on snow thrower. Raise mounting bar higher on your snow thrower. Cab skin is overly loose. Cab skin is not tightened correctly or enough. Check all fastening points and retighten. Cab does not stay level. Locknuts on U-bolts are not tight enough. Tighten locknuts on U-bolts. Cab interferes with machine controls.
