MFJ-5124Y3 Radio Interface
Read Instructions Before Operating
The MFJ-5124Y3 interface cable provides proper control between a Yaesu MP-
series radio and the MFJ-991/993/994/991B/993B/994B IntelliTuner
Automatic Antenna Tuners.
MKV, MP MKV Field and any Yaesu radio compatible with the Yaesu FH-1
Remote Control Keypad.

Connections and Operation

1. Insert the mono end of the cable to the Yaesu radio's REMOTE jack.
2. Insert the stereo end of the cable to the tuner's RADIO INTERFACE
jack.
3. Push the [TUNE] button on the tuner for 0.5 to 2 seconds to initiate
automatic tuning process.
automatically drops to the low-power CW mode and stays in this mode
until tuning of the tuner is complete. See the appropriate Yaesu
manual for setting the low power tune mode.
4. For Yaesu owners who have an FH-1, an inexpensive 1/8" headphone
splitter (mono or stereo) may be used to connect the FH-1 in parallel
with the MFJ-5124Y3.
