The Configure Wi-Fi hotspot dialog opens.
You can change the network SSID (name) that other computers see when scanning for Wi-Fi networks.
You can also touch the Security menu to configure the network with Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2) security, with a
preshared key (PSK).
If you touch the WPA2 PSK security option, a password field is added to the Configure Wi-Fi hotspot dialog. If you
enter a password, you will need to enter that password when you connect to the tablet's hotspot with a computer or
other device. Or touch Open in the Security menu to remove security from your Wi-Fi network.

Connecting to virtual private networks (VPNs)

Virtual private networks (VPNs) allow you to connect to the resources inside a secured local network, from outside that
network. VPNs are commonly deployed by corporations, schools, and other institutions so that their users can access
local network resources when not on campus, or when connected to a wireless network.
There are numerous systems for securing VPN connections, including some that rely on secure certificates or other
schemes to ensure that only authorized users can connect. For information about installing secure certificates,
see "Working with secure certificates" on page 69.
To configure VPN access from your tablet, you must obtain the details from your network administrator.
